We take pride in the quality of our lawyers and the strength of their academic and professional backgrounds.  Indeed, according to the 2004 client's guide to America's leading business lawyers published by Chambers and Partners, our firm is "best known for its set of hugely talented plaintiff lawyers."

Our lawyers are graduates of leading law schools, including Yale, NYU, the University of Virginia, the University of Alabama, Emory and George Washington. Most served as editors of their law reviews. Two lawyers were student body presidents in college. One was the National Collegiate Debate Champion and a national moot court finalist.

One of our lawyers is a past president of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association. Another is a past president of the Georgia chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates. And firm lawyers have been inducted into the American College of Trial Lawyers, the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, and the American Law Institute.

We also are active in civic, charitable, and political arenas. Firm lawyers have served on the boards of organizations such as the State Bar of Georgia, the national board of the ACLU, the national board of the NOW Legal Defense Fund, two universities, and the National Childhood Cancer Foundation. Our lawyers have been appointed to commissions charged with screening candidates for federal and state judgeships. We also routinely advise candidates for public office.

Our lawyers are frequent speakers at educational programs for other lawyers and have published articles and book chapters on many areas of trial practice.
